木質素液化法是通過溶劑分解木質纖維素的解聚方法,能夠有效提高木質素的溶解性。該過程使用多元醇(如乙二醇或聚乙二醇)或環狀碳酸醋(如碳酸亞乙醋)作為液化溶劑,并使用酸性催化劑在溫度為150-250℃的條件下進行反應,以生成具有經基的分解產物。此外,為了采用長鏈多官能醇制備聚氨醋,通常會使得到的液化產物進行進一步的醋交換反應,生成天然聚醋多元醇。采用聚乙二醇( PEG400)和甘油作為溶劑對香蕉假莖進行液化。液化產物的經值為294. 8一370. 2mgKOH/g,數均分子量約為430 g/mol。將這些液化產物與MDI和PEG400進行反應,制備了木質纖維素基的丁基防水嵌縫膠。實驗結果表明,當木質素液化產物質量分數為16.70%時,達到最大的搭接剪切強度為4.40 MPa。
相對于木質素的液化,經丙基化法生成的改性木質素具有更高的反應活性和不同延伸的支鏈分子結構。這種改性方法要求在100-200℃用氫氧化鉀或氫氧化鈉作為催化劑,在650一1820 kP。將環氧丙烷接枝到木質纖維素分子上。原本為固體的木質素可以轉化為液態多元醇。
為了探究木質素經丙基化對木質素基丁基防水嵌縫膠性能的具體影響,進行了牛皮紙木質素的經丙基化改性,分別在高溫高壓和常溫常壓條件下進行。這一改性導致木質素的玻璃化轉變溫度從177℃分別降至一34℃和118℃。研究中使用改性木質素與蓖麻油的混合物作為生物基多元醇,與MDI反應制備丁基防水嵌縫膠。結果表明,雖然木質素改性可制備具有更好機械性能的聚氨醋,但未改性的木質素基丁基防水嵌縫膠表現出最高的剪切強度值。這些實驗結果說明牛皮紙木質素的經丙基化并不利于提高丁基防水嵌縫膠的粘接強度,未改性或輕微改性的木質素更適合應用在丁基防水嵌縫膠的木材粘接領域。http://www.kzgjfl.cn/
