將已制備好的PVC丁基防水嵌縫膠用刮板均勻涂在隔離紙上，長2030 cm、寬6一10 cm、厚0.2 cm。放入鼓風干燥箱高溫烘烤固化，固化時間為30 min，取出試片，裁剪備用。
測定或表征
(1)-NCO值:采用二正丁胺滴定法測試聚氨醋樹脂中一NCO質量分數。稱取約1g左右樣品于干燥錐形瓶中，加入25 mL甲苯溶解樣品，準確加入25 mL二正丁胺一甲苯溶液，加塞密閉后充分振蕩，靜置15 min;隨后加入異丙醇100 mL和5滴嗅甲酚綠指示劑，用0.1 mol幾的HC1標準溶液滴定至終點(由藍至黃)，同時作空白試驗。
(2)力學性能:按照GB/T 528-2009標準，采用萬能拉力試驗機測定PVC試片的拉伸強度、斷裂伸長率;按照GB/T 529-2009標準，采用萬能拉力試驗機測定撕裂強度。
(3)硬度:按照GB/T 531-1999標準，采用邵氏硬度計進行測定。
(4)對鋁板的粘接力:將已制備好的PVC丁基防水嵌縫膠打膠條均勻地涂在鋁板上，參考QC/T 1024-2015標準中附件A的剝離粘接性測試方法，對丁基防水嵌縫膠進行粘接測試。
不同聚合度的PVC樹脂對耐高溫性能的影響
為驗證不同聚合度的PVC樹脂對耐高溫性能的影響，我們選擇3種不同聚合度的PVC樹脂制備成丁基防水嵌縫膠，分別在140,170和200 ℃固化30 min，測試其力學性能并觀察外觀，測試結果如表所示。
由表可知:低聚合度樹脂(PSL-31)在140 ℃固化能表現出較好的力學性能，但隨著固化溫度提高，顏色逐漸變黃轉黑，斷裂伸長率出現明顯下降，硬度增加，拉伸強度先增加后減少。表明200 ℃高溫導致低聚合度PVC分子鏈段斷裂，發生脫HC1反應，形成長共扼多烯結構，導致外觀發黃。相應地，中等聚合度樹脂(PSM-31)也出現類似規律，但耐溫性要好于PSL-31。高聚合度樹脂(PSH-10)隨著固化溫度升高，力學性能并未出現明顯下降，顏色輕微發黃，但在140 ℃固化時力學性能不及PSL-31o說明PVC聚合度越高，固化溫度越高，高溫固化的力學性能也越好，因此高溫固化的丁基防水嵌縫膠優先選用高聚合度的PVC樹脂。http://www.kzgjfl.cn/
